Introduction to Human Factors and Ergonomics
Human factors are issues affecting how people do their jobs. They are the social and personal skills, such as communication and decision making which complement our technical skills.Ergonomics is often thought of as the field that deals with design of workplace-environment, machines and tools, whereas human factors deals with human physical, mental and perceptual capabilities, and both are important considerations in the study of work and design of work environments.
